I wrote about the Kilar family a couple of weeks ago. They are trying to win grant money from Pepsi to build a ballpark in memory of their son who was tragically killed by a drunk driver last fall. Unfortunately I must report that the Kilar family fell short of the votes they needed to qualify for funds for their project. After starting the day in third place yesterday, they moved back into second place but then again fell back to third.
